Jira and Confluence are two Atlassian tools that used together can greatly help in project management.

Confluence It is a collaborative work space that allows the information to be made visible by the entire team and Tour It has a number of applications to plan, assign, monitor and manage work.

For this post I selected three different cases to show how to handle both tools together:

1. Case 1: 
   1. We are holding a decision meeting with the leaders of a project
   2. Select a predefined Confluence template
   3. Assign tasks to a manager
   4. After publishing the page, turn the task into an "issue" in Jira for further tracking. In this example, create a task and a user story.

2. Case 2:
   1. We have a list of tasks by different states such as in progress, done and to do and we want to make a report in confluence so that the team can visualize the number of tasks by state with updated graphs in real time
   2. Create a page in Confluence
   3. Add the Jira issues macro
   4. Select the filter previously saved in Jira and adapt it according to the required need

3. Case 3: We must report weekly to the PMO the status of the project with information that we are going to extract from Jira, as well as with confidential information for later sending in PDF.
   1. Create a page in Confluence
   2. Use the Jira report template
   3. Edit the report as needed, such as adding sensitive information
   4. Export the report in PDF
