In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, many, if not most, of us have found ourselves in remote work environments. That although it opens the door to the world allowing us to have co-workers from different parts of the world, how much effort are we making to ensure that we communicate effectively in this scenario?
I recently completed a communication course at the University of toronto. I know, you may think that they are tools that we can intuit, but no. The course details topics such as: communication pitfalls, dealing with awkward situations, guidelines for effective meetings, and communication strategies based on how our brains work.
Without a doubt, I recommend the course. You can sign up for Coursera at the following link and I share my annotations already translated into Spanish:
- Font: Grade Communication Strategies for a Virtual Age
- Institution: University of Toronto
- Teacher: Ivan Wanis Ruiz.
Soft skills like communication are important, right? Comment if you can apply any strategy and if you liked it, give it a like.
